NAACL Session: Getting into NLP research and grad school applications
NAACL D&I and SRW team is conducting an event for getting into NLP research and graduate school applications, specifically targeting pre-doctoral students and NLP enthusiasts. This event is accessible to everyone, even to the non-NAACL participants. This event will be held in the form of a zoom webinar and will be simultaneously streamed on Youtube.

Structure
First 10-15 minutes of this panel will have a presentation by hosts, which will involve some general tips on grad school research, grad school applications, student research workshops and financial aids.
Followed by this, we will have a panel consisting of a faculty moderator and grad student panelists. This will involve sharing experiences of their grad school and discussion of important topics like graduate degrees in NLP, careers in NLP and future of NLP as a field. You are all encouraged to submit your questions on Dory (link here).
